What it is
FindClariti is an AI self-analysis platform built around a single hard rule: it will not flatter you. Most consumer AI tools are tuned to be helpful, encouraging, and friction-free — which is exactly what makes them useless when the question you're trying to answer is "am I being honest with myself about this?"
FindClariti is the opposite. Users describe what's on their mind, pick a thinking category — Decision, Plan, Emotional, Pattern Check, or Rationalization — set the stakes, and receive a structured six-step analysis. Reality checks. Logic audits. Avoidance audits. No filler, no hedging, no "trust your gut and go for it." The goal is brutal clarity, not comfort.
What we built
- A six-step analysis framework grounded in cognitive psychology research, with each step calibrated to the type of question being asked and the stakes involved.
- A research-citation layer that backs every framework claim with peer-reviewed sources and DOI links — users can audit the reasoning, not just the answer.
- Pattern detection across sessions that surfaces recurring avoidance behaviors, recurring blind spots, and repeated rationalizations the user hasn't noticed in themselves.
- Action item tracking with follow-through metrics, so the system can tell whether insights are turning into behavior change.
- A session history and analytics dashboard that gives users a long-term view of how their thinking is evolving.
- AES-256 encryption on session data — FindClariti gets very honest and very personal information, and the security model reflects that.
How it's built
- Framework: Next.js (React) with a modern App Router architecture.
- AI layer: Anthropic's Claude as the underlying reasoning engine, with a carefully constructed system of prompts, framework templates, and validation steps that keep analyses on-rails and evidence-based.
- Auth: Full user authentication and session management.
- Storage: Encrypted at rest with AES-256.
- Theming: Dark/light mode with localStorage persistence.
Why it matters
The first wave of consumer AI tools optimized for engagement. FindClariti optimizes for truth. That's a much harder design problem — it requires picking the right framework, citing the right research, refusing to drift into reassurance, and giving users a way to see their own patterns without flinching.
It's also one of the clearest demonstrations of what we mean when we say "we build AI products that respect the user." For a client, this same approach scales naturally: refusing to ship the easy answer, building in audit trails and pattern detection, and making sure the AI's outputs hold up when someone goes back and checks them.
